1955

A contract dated Norway House, June 28, 1822, shows that he engaged to serve in the Athabaska District as a middleman for two years for 800 Montreal Livres per annum, and that as equipment he received a 3-point blanket, a 2½-point blanket, 2 shirts, 2 yards of common cloth and 6 tbs. of tobacco.
